The Problem With Minimum Wage

Is that it will never mean that people will be able to live off of a minimum wage job and rent a place to live, including the basics of modern need (basic cellphone bill, electricity, food, gas money, and for those crossing their fingers, enough to have a little fun or save for emergencies). It will not happen. The moment minimum wage is raised everything else is going to raise as well. Yes a person should be able to live off of minimum wage- that is as long as they are working the 40 hour work week, rather than complaining about their wage when they are only part time. In addition, yes a small family should be capable of living off of two minimum wage jobs. But that does not mean that it will happen, in fact it won't! The government cannot run better without more people being determined enough to go further than college drop out. The motivated, the determined, the head strong folk with standards is what this country needs a lot more of, and the government just cannot force people to be that way. There are too many things going wrong in this world and there is not enough intelligence spread out through out the world. I am by no means saying that I understand the details of the problems with the world and how to fix it, but it is so obviously common sense it's fucking smacking us in the face! STRIVE FOR BETTER FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!!
